How do I get off those ropes?!

Drop off the bottom end or just hold z with right/left

What the above dude said, but holding Z isn't necessary. The best way is to hold left or right (left if you want to jump off left, right if right, obv), then press or hold Z, depending on how far you want to jump off.

Dec 2 2013, 4:41 PM I tried! That's the exact same thing, what the sign told me... I t just doesn't work!

Dec 2 2013, 6:01 PM That's bizarre... but I have to guess it's because your keyboard isn't able to register holding left/right and Z at the same time. My only recommendation would be to try using a different keyboard... otherwise, I dunno :(

Dec 3 2013, 8:27 AM OK I got it now. I tried it with "JoytoKey", a tool, that can use a controller for the tabulator.
And now it works perfectly. Nice game so far, I'm at the second level now.

It's his game, he can do what he wants with it. Besides, you can't go on the internet and not expect some level of cussing.

Dec 4 2013, 7:19 PM That does remind me, I should put some sort of "mild language" warning in the description. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't see many flaws. You win, perfection. :(

There is no sound logic to this anyway. Downvoting something because its popular is THE definition of being a hipster. Do you really want to be a hipster on a Mario fansite of all places?

How does a low score bring it balance? That implies that there HAS to be a perfect balance of people who like something and people who don't, when that simply is not the case. The world is not made of halves or thirds or tenths or anything. The world is not an equation. The world simply IS.

Jan 21 2014, 9:38 PM Tried to run the game... an error message told me that I needed the August 2008 DirectX End-User Runtime.

What did you make this game with? Seems odd for me to have to download an 80 MB installer for a very old version of DirectX.

Construct Classic was made in... I want to say 2009, and it received updates regularly until it was discontinued in late 2012. Because of that it's based in DirectX 9 and can't do any newer.

Since the game tells you to download it if you don't have it, tho, I don't see it as a major issue.

Apr 14 2014, 9:26 AM I loved the cut scenes and how everything was so convoluted it's ridiculous lol. tho i reckon number 2 was the best and downloading 90mb directx just for this was a pain. for the sake of playing the whole set tho, i didn't mind.

the real wart
Dec 6 2022, 4:52 AM so I was planning on playing this for good times sake but for some reason the FPS is way too fast and my character walks way too fast and enemies jump too much or bullet bills fire way too often. This a construction problem?
